After winning MasterChef Israel in 2014, she wanted to bring together the Muslim, Christian, and Jewish communities through food. In the A-Sham Food Festival in Haifa, Jewish and Arab chefs collaborate on modern versions of traditional Arab dishes, finding common ground in sharing recipes and working together to prepare food.
